When Fan Studio reached out to layered.video, they had one clear goal—create a tutorial that could match the ambition and energy of their newest PvP iGaming experience, SkyControl. We took on the challenge with excitement, knowing this wasn’t just a how-to—it was a chance to introduce a disruptive new concept to the gaming world in a way that felt sleek, exciting, and ready for mass adoption.

SkyControl aimed to introduce their new innovative PvP iGaming concept - SkyControl - to the market with a tutorial that effectively communicates its unique features and gameplay mechanics. The objective was to create an engaging and informative video that would captivate potential players and demonstrate the game's potential to disrupt the industry.

The Solution

To deliver on that vision, we crafted a visually dynamic tutorial that mixes multiple styles and mediums into a tight, informative experience. We designed and animated custom 3D phone mock-ups to frame in-app screen captures, built an AI-generated sequence to bring a central brand character to life, and blended kinetic typography with just the right pacing to keep the energy high. A touch of carefully selected stock footage and cinematic sound design gave the final polish. The result is a video that doesn’t just explain the game—it makes you want to play it.
